I'd be happy to do a show on DU. Feel free to write to me and tell me what you think that the listeners would want to know most? There are the munitions we're using round the world in combat, there's the issue of our sick vets, and the US being filled with DU poison gas by the Depts. of War and Energy - and that's just for starters!

Japan allows the US to ruin their lands with dozens of US training bases. And Germany is fully "good to go" with DU and they allow it to be fired inside your own country at the US training base there, radioactively contaminating the lovely German people. It is a sad, sad situation.
Now please allow me to bring this back around to Cindy Sheehan. I do not support politicians- but Cindy is no politician. She is working to help humanity, and is the voice for all of us who possess both a heart and a keen conscience for humanity.

She believes that war should be a last resort for defense and not the handy policy tool that it is currently being used as. She believes that healthcare is a basic right in a democratic society and should not be based on ability to pay. Cindy knows that it is essential to keep our representatives and leaders accountable to our Constitution and to democratic practices. She knows that we must retool our economy to be in harmony with the environment and its sustainability. Most importantly, Cindy understands that Americans are striving for a new type of politics that has meaning, puts people before profits and that challenges the divisive two party system.
